We have a whole new era. Individuals' access to technology could pose a privacy threat to those around them. People are just becoming aware of this, and there is no social norm for it.

Right now, the technology is moving so much faster than legislative action that it is going to represent a real challenge to our communities.

Anytime the consumer is providing information to an entity and they're not aware of how that information is being used or what purpose the information may be put to, they're at a disadvantage.

People don't know how to knock anymore, or close the door. They must be used to automatic doors now that they forgot what privacy means.

I think the American people understand that people are entitled to some privacy.

People don't seem as alarmed these days as I think they should be about the invasion of their privacy. Young people today, they don't even realize they've lost it. I think to them it's a given that they know there's a camera watching them.
