We have an area where a week ago it was full of trees and wildlife, now it's gone.

Thanks to the support and commitment of our partners, these important lands will protect wildlife habitat, enhance air and water quality, support local economies and provide exceptional outdoor recreation opportunities for future generations.

I'm scared because I don't know when this will stop -- if it's going to continue until there are no trees left.

My immediate concern is the eggs are being laid shortly. They should hatch sometime next month. I hope that happens, but now I don't know.

I have deep roots here. It's going to be a great area for trails and wildlife.
