We have assembled one of the most powerful strategic tennis partnerships possible, and this will ensure that the event stays here for many years to come. We look forward to working with them to improve and enhance this already terrific tournament.

The best days to see the most tennis will be Friday through Sunday.

There will be some great tennis matches in this tournament. Anyone who enjoys hard-fought tennis matches with talented players will see great tennis. We will take it one point, one game, one set and one match at a time and leave our best play on the court.

We have a feeling those interested in tennis and general recreational needs or the needs of the library will come out and vote. A lot of people who are interested in the quality of life here in Auburn are very interested in this vote.

They're just happy to be playing tennis. It will be a different season this year then in the past. They'll learn and play as much tennis as they can to gain experience. All the kids will get a chance to play singles and doubles. Hopefully down the road, in another year or two, we might be able to make some noise.

It is the tennis fan who will likely benefit the most through greater exposure on television for tennis.
