In this election and others, ... Billings has been plagued by the rumor that his credentials ('studying engineering and business at BYU' and being close to graduation) are distorted or even falsified. I challenge the mayor to come clean: Produce a BYU transcript. . . .

I grew up in a generation that thought it was normal to smoke. When I started at Reid, we could smoke everywhere. We smoked at the central desks on the floors.

I know smoking causes problems. But I don't think non-smokers know how much it controls you, how addictive it is.

This past year in the fall semester I hit the schools hard to force the students to apply.
