We have had a string of girls out with various forms of illness and injuries. You just have to hope that you get these things out of the way early in the year and then go into the rest of the season ready to go.

It will be fun. It's a game, and until that registers with the girls it will be a learning experience.

We went into this meet missing five girls due to illness or injury. We didn't know really how we would handle this. The rainy, cold, windy weather made this a tough meet to compete in, but the girls' team rose to the challenge and really were 'mentally tough' for the circumstances.

A lot of these people's families have disowned them because of the mental illness. The centers are their families.

I thought we played okay. We played all top-ranked 5A schools. We may not have taken in match victories, but we did win a game against San Antonio-Madison.

They played pretty well this past weekend. I expect them to come in here and battle us tooth and nail.
