We have irresponsible people in the government, people who shouldn't be part of it. Berlusconi is to blame, because he brought these people into the government.

Berlusconi is a man fighting against the whole country. I don't know how he can govern Italy in this way, and in fact I think he won't be governing it any more.

Every day Berlusconi is picking a fight with someone. Alas, he is starting to lose his lucidity. I don't know how he can think to govern Italy in this fashion.

We had a radical clash over policy programs, a pact now would be incomprehensible for the citizens. There can be no coup de theatre, no rabbit pulled out of a hat.

We can be sure that whoever wins will have a smaller majority than the previous government. For the first couple years, the next government will probably be in charge. After that, I don't know.
