We have no intention of allowing this to go through. We still 100 percent believe in this project and the organization, so much so that the owners are even cleaning rooms.

During the past two seasons, we've learned from our mistakes. We're working to pay our past debts and to pay off the construction debt. We're determined that we're going to cure this thing and go on with the summer season that we've been planning.

It's been a difficult winter. It's been hard to meet all the financial obligations.

Our intention is to have the abdomen explored and repaired.

It has to be done this year, and that is our intention.

It was never my intention to be the highest paid player in the league, and I was never insulted by any of [the Lions'] offers. It was strictly business, and I think the deal is an amicable one for both sides. I'm really happy this has worked out and am not the least bit bitter about anything.
