We have our work cut out for us.

Essentially, the BID creates a budget and asks the municipal council to collect an assessment from commercial property owners. The municipal government doesn't have the authority to dictate what the budget is, all they do is make sure everything is legal and then collect the assessment from property owners that is asked for.

There are a lot of issues in town right now that we could be working on.

We need four more members, one of which has to be a Planning Board member.

They are all going to reopen as something, but what they are going to be is still a work in progress.

My general reaction to anything new being put on that parcel next to us is it's going to be an improvement.
