We have quite a number who can help on the domestic end. We need large animal farmers. They can't up and leave (in a disaster), but they can help with planning.

We don't intend to let this fall by the wayside. It's going to happen sooner or later, but it's a big job, and we need many, many minds.

It's wonderful if you have a passion for animals. But in a disaster, you have to keep your emotions in check. There are tons and tons of animal lovers who could help in the background.

We will be responsible for anything that happens on a county level. If it's beyond our control, the state team or (federal agencies) would be called in to help.

They tend to beat to their own drum. And that's stupid when other resources and agencies are willing to help. We want people to get what they're really entitled to.

We just want people to come and help us develop the parks.
