We have some outside presence with them. Both have learned not to be afraid to shoot. It's a development thing.

You can go outside and have a straightener on the cobbles with your fists or you can go shoot kids, ... I've encountered the direct aftermath of gang activity in Venice [Beach] with my mum, walking down the street, where we got caught for 12 hours, we couldn't get my car out, because two kids had been shot dead and one of them had landed with his head touching the tire of my car.

We're not going to shoot skyward from here; we're going to creep, ... six months or so from now, we'll probably be looking down at where we were and say 'how'd we get up here?'

We expressed our views that the presence of armed personnel and armaments outside the camps is not necessary and not helpful, ... As for the presence of armed personnel within the camps, this is going to be looked at in order to organize it.
