We have to be our own pioneers. We don't have somebody out there that is willing to be our savior or initiate something of this magnitude. We have to do it ourselves.

Our county is so big that we don't think that it would hurt us too much.

If we went in and pre-planned an industrial park where we put things that maybe a business wouldn't want when then came here, we would be stepping on our own foot. We are not going to ask the county to build something huge and grandiose without knowing who the customers are going to be.

Arizona State is going to be willing to go to the rim and be aggressive. We have to be aggressive as well. We're not going to extend ourselves on defense. Offensively, we have to do what we can and take what they give us.

That is where they are really pioneers.
