We have tried every alternative-dispute resolution, including fact-finding. We're trying to find an acceptable resolution because it's obvious we're at an impasse.

This means we remain at an impasse. The district does believe final best-offer would bring some closure to this by bringing in a third party. We regret they're not joining us in an effort to bring some closure to this situation.

We could have met several times in December; unfortunately, PTEA rejected all of those dates.

We're continuing where we left off last week. We've had three negotiating sessions within the last three weeks. Each side left willing to continue the discussions. Our intentions are to continue the sessions, and hopefully, get a contract. Both parties are going to pick up the discussion where we left off and hopefully continue to make progress.

We have not been notified by PTEA as to their decision.

The district feels we all have the same goal, and that is to create a quality program for our students. Obviously, we want to bring some closure to these negotiations. That will assist us in what we do best, educating our students.
