We have world-class facilities in Davis, ... We have a good place for our kids to go to school. We need to keep them that way by reinvesting money into the care of them.

I graduated with my ninth grade class (Langdale School) in the spring of 1941. Our graduation exercises were held in the Langdale Theater. After that, we gathered at the gym. It was pretty simple. It was a fun time. But it was a sorrowful time because we realized we would never be students at LaFayette Lanier School again.

With the 2008 Olympic Games coming up, he's got to raise the level of his gymnastics to be world class if it's not already there. We've got to keep it there and keep getting better. To him, the NCAA championships is more important at this point.

He's not a world-class competitor. But he's doing the right thing by getting started growing facial hair.

The potential right now for success at that school is very, very high. Of the 30 kids in my class, about 10 are Hispanic. It's very difficult for me to look at those kids that I'm teaching now and know that statistically there's a good chance some of them will drop out of school.

There would be better kids in this world today if prayer was in school.
