We haven't found ourselves yet. We don't have a lot of leadership yet. Mentally, we aren't there. It's day-to-day with us.

Not only that but a leadership role. He's someone who works hard every day. He may not be the best in anything individually. But he's definitely going to try and be the best.

It's been a great mix. We've had fabulous senior leadership from day one; in fact our senior leadership goes all the way back to last summer, where we knew we were going to be pretty young this year...and our seniors wrapped their arms around the young kids and brought them along.

Our team chemistry from day one has been great. Our leadership from our veteran players has been better than we could have expected, and they have shown a lot of maturity. Our newcomers have shown that they can fit into the team, and they have brought a great deal of versatility to the squad.

You have to know what's going on and take a leadership role. Because if you miss one call for somebody like the right guard, it can mess up the whole offensive line. That's my responsibility and I'm more adept to it now. Every game the snap, the block comes easier. I just keep working.

I immediately joined the committee because that seemed to be where the conservation leadership was, within DU and the Brown County Conservation Alliance.
