We haven't gotten every penny back and we won't get every penny back. But given all of the hurdles we have had to overcome, more than $5 billion (in settlements) is pretty damn good.

Every project has hurdles. This project has never gotten to the point where the hurdles are insurmountable.

It's beyond money. The power provided under this contract is critical to supply stability. We cannot afford in California to take even one step back to a reliance on the spot market.

If there are sex offenders who have come into California and haven't registered, that is cause for concern. We'll work with law enforcement to try to track them down, but it's a tough task.

On its face it seems like an outrageous invasion of people's privacy.

The money we are seeking is the amount we paid in excess of a just and reasonable rate, according to formulas established by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
