We haven't had that many snow events this winter, period, and the actual number of events reaching 6 inches in our forecast are almost none. This is different.

It looks like it's going to be fairly warm on Monday, but there've been April snowstorms.

It's just a different weather system, where the storms were a little more likely to have some rotation than produce a lot of wind. Last week's system had few tornadoes and a lot of wind.

We had snow events on Feb. 24 and March 1 along the northern-border counties. So suddenly, over the course of about two weeks, we've thrown another inch to an inch-and-a-half of moisture into that.

We've been doing this 10 years and this is the first time we've had snow. That's not too bad.

It is also the first time that the number of the athletes in snow events exceeds those in ice events. Though we are just rookies in snow events, our athletes are confident to try their best in the Games.
