We just didn't really have that jump in our step tonight, we were very passive.

Anytime you're in a pressure situation you find out who's going to step up and do it and who's going to fade into the background.

Zen is a single step—the journey of one single step. You can call it the last step or the first step, it doesn’t matter. It is the first and it is the last, the alpha and the omega. The whole teaching of Zen consists of only one thing: how to take a jump into nothingness, how to come to the very end of your mind, which is the end of the world.

In the first game, we kind of were a little passive. Tonight, I think we all understood that we couldn't go down two-love on our home court. So I think we came out with the intentions of playing defense for 48 minutes, and that's what we did.

There were times tonight when we were passive, and that's disappointing. But I got chased out of the locker room after the second game and the guys took care of the rest. I like the way we played in the third and fourth games. Saint Francis is as good a team as they were in the mid-90s, they have a nice future.

Tonight was a great start for the defense. It's time for this defense to step up.
