We just played a simple game on defense. Short passes in the back, no long balls. We made them chase us around. We made them run.

Defense has been our motto all year, and we stuck to it.

We've relied on that this year. Getting teams to quit with our defense, but they aren't going to quit here. You have to give them credit, we came after them, they just kept coming back.

Going into the season, I definitely thought our defense was our strong point, but our offense has been surprising. I didn't expect it to be clicking this well early in season.

Great teams can play defense. If our offense had been better in those two losses, we could be 12-0. Our defense has carried us, and that's the reason we're in the position we're in right now.

Our defense kept us in the game until our offense could get us a lead. We are improving as a team at the right time of the season.
