We just wanted to have fun this spring with Normal Theatre and the movies picked are all landmark films which are very different on screen experiences than when you watch them at home on your TV.

The experience of seeing these movies on a big screen is rare and sharing it with 200 other people is rare - students may never get the opportunity to see these movies in a theater and these movies really bring generations together.

The radio personality responsible for picking the movie will introduce the movie and say why they chose it and student are certainly encouraged to give feedback.

Movies are a unique art form, and for two hours you go the movie theatre to escape the outside world. I don't think it's fair to have to pay to watch commercials.

That is why it's so fun to make movies... you get to do lots of things you would never do in your normal life.

We do it every year for the fun of doing it, and it's a really good cause. We see a lot of (big and little brothers and sisters from the program). They're coming to the library and doing things. They look like they are having a lot of fun together. It's a great service to the community, and we appreciate that.
