We just weren't as assertive as we were against the man defense. We really didn't get that swagger back until about halfway through the third quarter when Grogan hit an open jumper, and we were fine from there.

Overall, I thought this was probably our best stretch of man-to-man defense that we've played all season. Now, we just have to keep working at that. We've been playing better. The last four games, I think we probably are playing our best basketball. It's coming together.

Our guys worked extremely hard, we thought well enough to win the game. We just made mental mistakes sometimes. Our effort was 100 percent and our mental game was probably 90 percent, but that's okay. Most teams will play 70 to 80 percent of both those.

We want to continue to play well coming into the playoffs.

We had about a three-week stretch where we weren't playing very well at all. We thought we played well enough to beat Crook County, and it didn't work out, but we're playing better. We just need to bottle the passion we play with against Pendleton and use it in the rest of our games.
