We knew that types of medications being dispensed in schools were increasing and we had no information about them, so we decided we needed to get a handle on what was going on.

We feel the problems that were cited in the report have been corrected. We feel their plan of correction is acceptable.

Rarely does a facility go through a license inspection without any deficiencies. We certainly didn't see any immediate jeopardy to patients. Our concerns were that there are still some things in the process of being corrected. Will we go back in? I can't say yes or no on that. Because there's the possibility the license could be revoked, it's something we take very seriously.

It's been a mild season. And it's been a light year nationwide, not just in Pennsylvania.

Schools have never been about getting access to information. That's the job of libraries. Schools and universities have nobler missions as gentle gatekeepers. Their role is to control ideas on the loose and to present the best and noblest ideas to the young.

We've been getting lots of information talking about what bullying is. Bullying has been starting very early in schools. Bullying may start innocently, but it can escalate into something stronger.
