We knew Virginia was 0-2 in conference play. We knew they had beat us the last two times that we'd played, and I think we definitely saw which team was hungrier, which team played harder and which team deserved to win this game. They handed it to us.

That's why we play the game. You have to come out and play the game. Anybody can beat anybody. You have to make sure to put it all out on the floor and that's what we did.

What we cannot have happen is for us to hang our heads and feel sorry for ourselves. Tough times don't last; tough teams do. Our team made a step tonight against the No. 6 team in the country, and we could have very easily won this game.

The hungry lion hunts best, and we saw which team was hungriest tonight. They handed it to us.

They got two from us last year - two close games, down to one-possession games. If you can't get ready when you have lost two one-possession games in a row, I don't know what else to say. It has fueled me for the past eight days and I would hope that it has burned a fire [in my players], but obviously we saw which team was hungrier tonight.

If we can play like this from here on out, we will win some games. We will beat some people that people don't think we should, and we'll be in a prime spot at the end of the season.
