We knew we had a couple of tough losses and we knew we had to come out hard and get some shots on net. Tyler and I stepped it up. We?re the leaders of this team and we know how to step it up. We just told the team they needed to pick it up and they did. It?s a big win.

My job is to score the goals. I just took it around and tried to get it on net, and fortunately it went in.

This is an awesome opportunity. This is my first trip to Europe, and I get to play hockey. I expect it to be less physical, and we?re going to have to work on maintaining possession.

You cannot win if you're not at the table. You have to be where the action is.
