We know the construction won't last forever, but some nights we don't get to the (Newburgh-Beacon) bridge until almost 7. It just makes for a really long day.

Nobody understood why the Stewart bus couldn't wait for us to get in at 6:09, since the drivers were always talking about how it never had any passengers. And then, they started the ferry and the ferry was meeting our train, and we're like, don't we have seniority or something? Don't get me wrong - the ferry's great. But it doesn't work for everybody.

It's been a long time coming, and we're very appreciative. It's going to make for a shorter commute, and that, I think, will get more people on the bus.

We have truckers. We have construction workers, we have fence companies who have already offered their services free of charge, who want to get involved in this project.
