We know we have a challenge in emergency. There's no question.

We have standard staff-to-patient ratios and as the need increases. If the volume doesn't change, why would we increase the staff?

It will be a wireless, paperless environment which will be the first in Vancouver Coastal Health.

It will be much more efficient for people to move through.

I think this is a very special community and our foundation has never raised this much money in such a short period of time and I think it's a real community commitment and really a desire to have a much better emergency department, so it's a wonderful story.

It seems like this year it hasn't been as much of a challenge for retailers to find good quality holiday help. It seems like this year there are a lot of people out there looking for part-time work as well as full-time jobs. It's a great opportunity for people to make additional income and get their foot in the door.
