We like [Holden] on our team, too. We just have to keep him on track. The two games we lost in the playoffs the past two years were the two games he was supposed to pitch but couldn't because he was sick.

What's good is to see how a team responds to a challenge. We'd just given up the lead, and they turned around right away and put it behind them. I always preach that, and I'll remind them again when I talk to them [today] how important that was.

The anticipation and the atmosphere of the game was unbelievable. We worked a little bit harder at practice last week and we have some heavy hitters who came through.

All three games have been great games. I think we finished real strong. After we cut it to one in the second, we really took over the game. There was a lot of intensity on the bench, and everyone was working hard. I was concerned when we went down 2-0, but we didn't get down, we stayed with it.

Mainland is accustomed to playing in big games, and they did what they had to do to win. We helped them some and hurt ourselves at the same time with some big mistakes, and you can't do that against a club like Mainland.

David had one of his best games. He started the game making a lot of great plays on both ends of the court. When he's got that kind of energy, commitment and focus, our team's really good.
