We like to get somewhere and stay with it because we all realize it's a game of skill, and you like to develop those ninth-graders early and see them through. Baseball coaches are unique in that factor.

It's never easy with this team. Maybe we don't have the same skill level as last year's team, so it is always a constant battle. This game did personify who we are. Things were tight and close. There's still great satisfaction of where we are and what we have accomplished.

I need skill players at every position and they just have to be mentally tough and play from point one to point 25.
