We make skates made for their leg braces so that they are able to skate on the ice and that helps build different muscles which gives them better balance off the ice as well.

Lucille would never allow anyone to double for her. If she had to learn how to ice skate, she'd ice skate. If she had to go down a staircase on skis then that's what she'd do. She wouldn't allow a double to do it because the cameras were very close. She thought it would be ridiculous to use a double.

I never ice skated before... I learned enough to skate for the 20 yards I needed to.

I think they've been a little tight, maybe now they'll be able to skate freer.

And I'm not very coordinated, either. Only on ice skates, not in real life.
