We may speak about a place where there are no tears, no death, no fear, no night; but those are just the benefits of heaven. The beauty of heaven is seeing God.

Jesus tends to his people individually. He personally sees to our needs. We all receive Jesus' touch. We experience his care.

I choose gentleness... Nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle. If I raise my voice may it be only in praise. If I clench my fist, may it be only in prayer. If I make a demand, may it be only of myself.

I decided to throw out everything I thought I knew about following Christ, being a woman, being a godly wife, masculinity, and marriage.

They were on their way to Canaan; we are on our way to heaven!

It is ignorance or at least lack of consideration of heavenly things that make the temporal things of this world, whether good or evil, greater than they really are.
