We most certainly feel it was a worthwhile effort. We're proud of the effort we made to defend our neighborhood and, we believe, the city of Davis as a whole. In part, we felt at the time, it was the only recourse we had left.

It did not feel like a neighborhood, but a cemetery.

We won three quarters but came up short on the scoreboard again. I was proud of the effort our kids gave tonight, and hopefully we can come back Friday and get a win to get things started again.

The St. Pete race was very, very good from that standpoint. Certainly, living there you can feel the buzz about people wanting the race to come back. That's what you have to have at each track we go to. With Danica [Patrick], and the fact that she's generated so much interest, I think the races are going to get bigger and better.

I think it was a very worthwhile meeting. I feel we learned a lot and I feel we had the opportunity to express our opinions.

It all added up to something that's making me feel proud,
