What we are seeing are the consequences of long-term conflict... the breaking of families and communities. There is a lot of depression and anxiety among children.

Basically, our license to travel to Cuba had been revoked and all applications for a renewal for a license would be denied. In other words, you can't go to Cuba anymore and don't bother trying. You needed a license to be able to spend money in Cuba.

The work camps proved to be very positive experiences for our students.
