We need to preserve our neighborhoods, our small business, our local economy.

Small business is the backbone of our economy. I'm for big business, too. But small business is where the jobs are generated.

Every family in America knows they have to do a budget. Every small business in America knows they have to do a budget. Every local government, every state, knows they have to do a budget.

The choice is not, Reich argues, between a governed and an ungoverned market, but between a market governed by laws favoring monopolistic companies and one governed by those favoring small business.

By throwing billions of dollars of tax payer money to these huge corporations we not only impose a huge economic sanction against the American people but we also remove the entrepreneurial incentive necessary to create a competitive company with a desire to succeed where these government-backed corporations have failed.

As the son of a small business owner, I know how regulatory overreach can stifle our economy and cost Americans jobs.
