We need to start playing better defense and with more energy. We can't let teams stay in the game.

We talked about playing flat and having no energy out on the court.

It felt good once we got back into it and we started playing better defense and getting in to what we usually do, but then I don't know what happened, we collapsed and we couldn't get back up.

They got after it on defense. My hat's off to them. They did a good job. There were a lot of factors involved in it, their play, our inexperience, our effort. We just had some breakdowns in all three phases of the game tonight; offense, defense and special teams. It's hard to play catch up against a team like Ben Davis. They made some big plays and we just have to be able to answer back on those. We just couldn't quite answer them tonight.

I think if we shoot like (we did Friday) and combine it with good defense, you never know how far you can get.

Our defense was tenacious. We had the energy which we didn't have at Connecticut. The defense initiated a lot of our offense.
