We only have six or seven home games. We don't see the other sports as competition. We are the only professional rugby team in Sydney, so the choice is quite clear.

He hasn't been home but they think they may know where he is but they're not sure and they haven't been able to contact him. From the NSW point of view, we don't know where Leroy is. He didn't come to the launch, didn't come to training and didn't get on the plane to Brisbane. But firstly, that's obviously a family issue and it's extremely sensitive and you have to handle these things carefully.

It's just a normal business decision they've taken. And it's not entirely surprising given the level of international competition [for the bid].

Our aim is to finish on a high with a couple of wins at least from our last five games and I believe it is possible having come so close when not playing particularly well.

It's bold, no doubt about that, but I think it's a clever move by the team. The rules allow it and we've got on with it. The only issue we have is with hyphenated names, so (first five-eighths) Sam Norton-Knight will be NK.

Training was good, he (Houston) was in good spirits but at the end of the training session, upon reflection he probably thought he had a few more things to sort out.
