We played a lot more 5-on-5. That was good to see. I think we're adjusting and adapting.

I can't say we made any adjustments. The kids really stepped up and did a nice job of adjusting on their own.

I think we're all ashamed of how we played today. We're all a little shocked that we came in here and got beat that way.

My guess is that good and bad parenting is spread fairly evenly across different social groups. But can you imagine Tony Blair lecturing the middle class on how to bring up their children? He is far more comfortable as a latter-day exponent of the Poor Law mentality.

We played hard and we played good in stretches. Now we have to learn how to win games. We need some leadership to show us how to win. We'll get there. It wasn't because of lack of hard work.

It was a very well played game. We settled down after a couple of innings against a very good pitcher (Brittany Schmitt).
