We played a lot of kids off the bench. The kids came off the bench and we didn't miss a beat.

All the games we played prior to region play really helped us out. Our kids are really understanding what we have to do. They know each other and what we can do on the floor.

Our young team is starting to come together. ... I think our schedule has helped our kids grow up, and we're starting to get better.

I do believe there are kids who will choose a Tennessee or a Connecticut because of who they are and what they've done and not think about being the last kid on the bench. If we had 13 scholarships, that gives me two they can't get. But we need 15 because it gives you more room for error. You can gamble on some kids and work with them.

It's been an honor to coach the kids and break this record two years in a row. I told them it makes me happy, and I hope the school is proud of them and the community is proud of them. For these guys to break the record two years in a row is a testament to their hard work.

Our spinners bowled well as they stuck to the task and bowled well to their fields.
