We played good enough defense to win the game. Our trouble came on the offensive end. Our goal right now is to find the answers to our questions on offense.

He's an extremely tough kid, hits hard on defense and he can run a little bit. So right now I still have not established who my starting tailback is. It could take a few games.

What's the use you learning to do right, when it's troublesome to do right and ain't no trouble to do wrong, and the wages is just the same?

I think our areas of deficiency right now have been consistency in both offense and defense but probably more offensively. Our ball control hasn't been consistent, and we have had real breakdowns here and there with out passing, and those are areas we're going to focus a lot on and try to get better. I think, as we increase our offensive efficiency, we will be better.

The trouble ain't that there is too many fools, but that the lightning ain't distributed right.

The last half against Duluth we had trouble on defense and we need to improve on that. We sometimes have problems with our communication. Our reactions are a little slow; we just need to hustle.
