We played well the first two games. [In the third game] they caught us off guard a little. We just have to stay positive and take it to the rest of the conference.

[Rose] has been very good for us, but we can't rely on one person. We're just hitting the ball right at them. I'm confident in our lineup. We just have to keep plugging away and hopefully the ball will hit the gaps.

Green has stepped up big time for us. She has called some great games and has also done tremendous at the plate. She was a walk-on in the fall and I didn't know what to expect out of her but she's done very well in stepping in for (junior catcher) Erin Zeller, who has been battling a shoulder injury.

The losses we have had this year have been a lesson for us. We started winning some games over Spring Break after we sat down and had a team meeting. Nothing has changed on our end, I still think we will win our conference.

I think Pete made the right move, because (Glenside) has been hitting us late in the last couple of games. It's pretty disappointing, especially after losing (the way) we did, taking the first two games (Saturday) and dropping them both on Sunday.

She played excellently on that end. It never shows up on the stat sheet but defense wins games.
