We played with Ghosts of Verona recently. They don't play hip hop but the crowd seemed to enjoy the [pairing].

I thought it was very beneficial. The caliber of players are a step up and it teaches you to play at a faster pace.

I didn't want to play a lawyer. I didn't want to play a doctor. I didn't want to play a single dad. I wanted to do something I felt I could learn from, something that would be a challenge and something that would not dry up.

Maybe they know my name, maybe they don't, but we're going to get that damned play on, even if I have to hit a liquor store.

The art is huge. What people see is just as important as what they hear.

We felt it tied in with our purpose for Acappellastock. It is a community event, and a community is a group of people that come together for a commonality, a cause. We hopefully build one another up to build a better future for tomorrow.
