We really feel this is an event that after it's over, if people didn't get a ticket, they'll wish they had.

Riders said they were thrilled that someone had donated bananas at the museum when they stopped. They were surprised to learn that they had gone to that effort for the bikers. What started as a small, little welcome really blossomed into a marketing event.

We got a lot of positive comments from bikers on that.

You see the same people throughout the shopping center and they're an extension of that. I think it helps to make people feel like part of the community. They provide a real service to the community and to our shoppers.

For people in our e-mailing files, a message is sent two or three days before an item is due to remind them. After that they will receive a letter in the mail after about a week of being late and a second and final notice almost a month after it was due.

In some cases we find empty CD and DVD cases on the shelves in which people have stolen the contents.
