We really have the guidance counselors encourage students to take the courses that help them prepare for the SAT and to take that test,

It doesn't mean we're not admitting students with a B average and an 1,100 SAT.

After that, our division designed a pet guidance document for locals in planning emergencies.

Our philosophy here with both SAT and AP is that we want to encourage all students to take the test.

Overall, we had a smaller percentage taking the SAT but we had more taking the ACT, ... Some students take both and some take one or the other.

I think it's getting more competitive for students now. The average SAT score has gone up every year. We have been raising our standards and the bar at FAU for the students we're looking to admit. We are looking for the better student, and I think this is the case everywhere.
