We really thought our tribe would be accepting of us. That hasn't proven to be the case.

At that time, when we bought 10 years ago, we thought it gave us more bang for our buck on the East Side. We were looking for older homes. We found our selection for the size of the inside and the outside better.

We're working through this process so we can get all this done through grant money.

We are relieved by the court's ruling. Dawn and I are private people, and we simply wish to live our lives in peace and quiet, just as other married couples are permitted to do. We thought about doing a little bit of traveling. In fact, we bought the car with using it for traveling in mind. We were going to visit family in Missouri and New Mexico.

At the beginning, I thought we could hang with them. But I think we just got tired at the end. They just kept going inside and going inside. We just got tired and couldn't hang with them.
