We rely on him. I don't think he ever wears out. We try to keep him on the floor as much as possible just for that floor leadership.

There's definitely a redemption factor.

We came out real sluggish on defense. We really refocused (at halftime) and came out and played some good team defense.

They shot the ball well in spurts. They had us down 18-7 to start out the game, but we closed the gap and ended the half down by three.

Mike held us in the game in the first. Then it was really of combination of guys that really stepped up for us.

As a point guard, that's who you want to have the ball late in the game. He worked hard on his free throws over the summer.
