We sing that old hymn 'What a Friend We Have in Jesus,' but we don't really relate to Him.

He was playing point guard and directing teams all over the place at 6 years old. And Maggie was the same way. She just loved it. She used to play in the backyard all the time.

Return, O wanderer, now return,
And seek thy Father’s face;
Those new desires which in thee burn
Were kindled by His grace.
Return, O wanderer, now return, And wipe the falling tear:
Thy Father calls, - no longer mourn;
’Tis love invites thee near

When I do leap into the pit, I go headlong with my heels up, and am pleased to be falling in that degrading attitude, and pride myself upon it. And in the very depths of that degradation I begin a hymn of praise. Let me be accursed. Let me be vile and base, only let me kiss the hem of the veil in which my God is shrouded. Though I may be following the devil, I am Thy son, O Lord, and I love Thee, and I feel the joy without which the world cannot stand.

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind but now i see.

The Lord Jesus is a loyal friend.
