We spent four weeks discussing a one-year deal and drawing lines in the sand. Then it took an hour to get a multiyear (deal) done.

It's one thing if [the Conservatives] had four or five years to deal with it. It's another thing if you're a minority government -- a slim minority. Forget about bank executives -- I don't think you'll find a single analyst who'd be surprised.

I don't think the White House is drawing any lines in the sand, these comments notwithstanding.

With a timeshare a person might only get a property for one or two weeks a year. With fractional ownership you might get it for one-tenth or one-sixth of a year.

Last year it took four votes to pass the budget and each time the budget kept getting depleted to what I thought was a dangerous point. I'm very happy to say the vote passed the first time out.
