We stand ready to honor the bargain we struck with the sports authority, and we hope and expect that the sports authority will do the same.

From our vantage point, the business agreement is done. All that remains is for the sports authority to secure the support of key community leaders, which they have assured us they can do. It's time to let the people decide.

The sports authority would like to see a two-team stadium with the technology that can make it either team's home on game day. It should have a retractable roof so the state will garner revenues from a Super Bowl, the Final Four, political conventions and other events.

God's Choice. I hope that this means the new Cardinal O'Malley will have even greater authority and capacity to get on with the reform of the church in Boston.

It's a tremendous honor, but I played with some great players and coached some great players. We always had sports. We were always friends on and off the field or court. Phil Jones (another inductee) has always been one of my best friends, and he still is.

It's important to get something done quickly. I think everybody agrees with that.
