We started putting more pressure on them defensively, started to take care of the ball. I think our nerves rattled us in the first few minutes. Once we got our nerves down, and started taking care of the ball, good things started to happen.

We've got to get back to putting pressure on the other side of the ball.

I don't feel like we are underdogs. We took our bumps during the season, but when push came to shove we did OK. They believed in themselves and their teammates. That is what took us here.

You know, we have talked about that. It just matters what we believe. And we believe. If there are doubters, too bad. We believe in ourselves, and that's all that matters.

Stacey has started to hit the ball, which helps her defensively as well, so she's not carrying that back to the field. Karen is throwing well and is taking that senior leadership role. She tells the girls she's going to get the ground ball, so they have to back her up.

Our Achilles heel has been taking care of the ball. They can get out and pressure you, so we need to be ready for that.
