We want to place well in league and we want to challenge all the kids. But the numbers are low. The margin for mistakes is very thin. There's no room for mistakes or injuries.

I think the kids are ready for this. I think they're ready to take on that next challenge. We've been talking about Taos, Espanola and Capital all season, and we're ready to finally play.

It's a real challenge because, at 6 and 7, these kids may not even know which side to line up on. It's hard for the guys to start from scratch. It's not a smaller version of the high school game. You can't assume anything at this level.

We came in with a young group of kids. We wanted to challenge the younger kids. All in all, I thought they did a nice job.
