We want to set the stage to be successful the rest of the season in Arizona. This is an opportunity to see new faces and gain some big meet experience.

[Chris Simms will control the Bucs' playoff hopes for the rest of the season.] I've been out there a few times, ... I know what I'm doing.

Being on the DL and knowing that you are not coming back the rest of the season is not fun at all, ... It was a really tough pill to swallow. Not being able to go on the road trips [stinks]. It's rough.

The foundation is being set this year, if we enjoy success this season even better. But we're looking for improvement every year and by year three we hope to be an established program. We hope to be able to compete with everyone our size.

A season like this doesn't come around very often. The kids realized the opportunity, seized the moment and were able to take full advantage of it.

We have had a successful season. They came. They nested. They got through it.
