We want to show Latin America through Latin American eyes. The United States and Europe have dominated information beamed to our continent for decades. It is time to change that. They portray us in black and white. We are a region in Technicolor.

We need to see a point of view that comes from South America, not from Europe or the United States. Why can't we have our own point of view?

Frankly, in my opinion, it would be impossible to find unbiased jurors in the whole United States of America. I would have handled it differently.

It's the most disgusting thing, ... That this is the United States of America, and it's taken so long for them to do anything. We can't get food to them immediately? I'm just beside myself.

We are here to support the United States of America.

The conflict with the United States has brought together political and social movements in Latin America, and now governments as well, which have in their hands an explosive cocktail: the largest reserves of oil and gas in the region, combined with revolutionary policies.
